Photos: My Chemical Romance at Tacoma Dome

After a postponed reunion tour due to Covid the rock icons, My Chemical Romance, brought their concert through Tacoma Dome. Founded back in 2001 they established themselves as one of the most influential rock groups of the 2000s. Their 2006 album, The Black Parade, is still one of the most successful releases of that era. We still love blasting “Welcome to the Black Parade,” remembering our emo days in college.

Vocalist Gerard Way, Ray Toro, Frank Iero, and Mikey Way made their die-hard fans happy by reuniting after announcing their breakup in 2013. Their first single after 8 years, “The Foundations of Decay,” is out now. The tour lineup also included Taking Back Sunday and Kimya Dawson. The Tacoma Dome got loud, and people were thrilled to listed to some of their favorite tunes. The wait totally seemed to be worth it, let’s hope there’s more to come.
