Moon Palace Release “Faultlines”
It’s been a hard year for many of us and as we enter 2021 we all hope that the global pandemic will be far behind us. At least in all of this isolation we got to hear a lot of our favorite artists release tracks and create new works. Seattle’s own Moon Palace just dropped a new track titled, “Faultlines” and it’s as dreamy as ever. Listening to the tune brings us back to everything we have missed about live music. We can only hope we can hear bands soon again and get lost in the abyss of their art.
Moon Palace first worked on “Faultlines” during the Covid-19 stay-at-home order in Washington state. Carrie Biell wrote the song in her basement studio and sent Jude the track on May 10, 2020. From there each member began writing parts at home and working together remotely to bring you this first single off their new EP. Drummer Jude Miqueli also wrote a blogspot about the song process which provides great view into their journey of putting it all together remotely.
