BBNO$ hits Seattle with ‘It’s Pronounced Baby No Money’ Tour

How the f— do you say BBNO$?!?! Embarrassingly enough, it was something I also wondered for a little while after seeing his viral tiktoks and cosplays come across my fyp. While cracking jokes on stage about all the crazy ways people say his name wrong, bbno$ finally put the debate to rest with his international, “It’s pronounced Baby No Money,” tour. A vibrant and colorful crowd full of bbno$ cosplayers took over Showbox Market for an evening with Jungle Bobby and bbno$ on March 17th.

I truly didn’t know what to expect from either artist, but I was wildly surprised and delighted by both performances. Jungle Bobby’s disco themed attire and ruffled top flowed across the stage, getting the vibes going with songs about peace and love. Jungle Bobby gave an exhilarating opening, throwing up heart signs and getting the whole crowd dancing.

In a wife-beater, patchwork pants (that probably cost more than my car), and hair slicked back, bbno$ anime-ran onto stage and the crowd went bonkers. Playing through his hit songs, fans became more spirited and riled up, especially as bbno$ invited the crowd to be in one of his latest Tiktoks for his new release “Antidepressants.” I filmed from the side of the stage knowing it’d look cool to get the Tiktok made from another POV.

Tonight in Seattle, I got to record this special lil moment when @bbno$ and his chef gave 10 year old Dominic the first concert every kid could dream of. #bbnos #bbnomoney #bbno #bbnotiktok #babynomoney #bbnose #junglebobby @junglebobby #seattle #musicvideo

Never have I seen someone cook up a three-course meal on stage during a live show, but BBNO$ brought local Seattle chef Remy Chauvin from 84 Yesler (@84yesler) with a pan and makeshift kitchen on hand to make him, what I’m assuming is a mid-stage meal. I snapped Remy serving up bbno$ goat tacos and enjoying them.

10-year-old Dominic watched his first concert with me from the side of the stage, when bbno$ and Remy decided to give away a special book from the stage, noticed him in the crowd and got to interact with one of his favorite artists. I realized it was about to be a special moment for this kid and decided to film it and post it here, so hopefully his family can see it and show him his moment with bbno$!

After such a vigorously passionate performance from all, the crowd was hyped, leaving the showbox still talking about how amazing it was and admiring each other’s Miku cosplays. My own opinion, as someone who has been to over 400 shows the past two years, is that I walked away thoroughly entertained and understood why bbno$ has the 6 million followers and attention he has.
